Cook Wanted - Come Feed Some Very Opinionated Toddlers 🍎
We're looking for a cook who genuinely loves this age group - someone who takes food safety seriously, gets a kick out of watching a picky 3-year-old finally try broccoli, and doesn't mind that "lunch rush" here means 100 tiny critics with strong opinions about texture.
You'll cook breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K classrooms, working from menus we've already plannedÂ
The schedule you've been hoping for
Monday–Friday. Set daytime hours. No nights. No weekends. No rotating schedule to memorize. You'll actually have your evenings back.
What we offer
- $18–22/hr, based on experience
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Up to 4 weeks paid time off, plus 10 paid holidays
- Tuition discount if you have kids of your own enrolled
- Free meals, free snacks, free uniforms - we feed you too
What you'll actually be doing
- Cooking and plating breakfast, lunch, and snacks that kids will actually eat
- Tracking allergies and dietary restrictions across every classroom.
- Keeping the kitchen nut-free and clean
- Helping plan food orders and get portions just right
- Teaming up with our leadership on menu planningÂ
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of cooking or food service experience (childcare/school kitchen experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Reliable, on time, and a good teammate in a small kitchen
We move fast: candidates hear back within 24 hours of applying, and we'll text you the day before your interview, so you're never left wondering.
If you love cooking, don't sweat allergen protocols, and think toddlers are the toughest food critics around — we'd love to meet you.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
(if you already have a resume on Indeed)
